Taylor Black, DPT.

Physical Therapist

My name is Taylor Black, and I have practiced outpatient Physical Therapy for four years. I received my BS in Kinesiology from Longwood University in 2015, where I had the opportunity to play colligate soccer. After graduation, I went on to earn my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 2018. Following graduation, I moved to the Shenandoah Valley, where I have spent my time pursuing my passion for helping others. I strive to provide excellent care for all my patients and am passionate about getting people back to doing the things they love. I have always enjoyed working with athletes, but following the birth of my son, Joey, I realized the importance and need for pelvic floor rehab. I now specialize in women’s pelvic health, working with patients primarily dealing with pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, and prenatal and postnatal recovery.

I love seeing the results in my patients, and I am so excited to be able to provide a service that is so underrepresented in the area. In my free time, I love enjoying the outdoors. When I am not running and training for ultra-marathon races, I enjoy hiking and spending time with my husband, Chris, and going to the park and exploring the world with my son, Joey. I am a fitness fanatic, and I love encouraging an active, healthy lifestyle in my patients.
