Wonderful therapy in a fun environment! Kaci was very thorough with my initial evaluation. She set attainable goals but not without consistent therapy. She makes it fun while pushing at the same time. I go regularly instead of skipping days because of the environment and because of Kaci. Janice & Bill make time spent there fun too!

Meet Our Team
Bill Serena, MSPT - Center Manager
Bill brings over 20 years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and management experience to Moody. A University of Mobile graduate, he has treated everyone from professional athletes to older adults seeking independence, always with a hands-on, patient-centered approach. Having built and led successful clinics in Alabama and Pennsylvania, Bill has spent the past several years fostering strong relationships with Moody's physicians and patients. Outside of work, he and his wife, Debbie, enjoy family life with their six children and serving their community through church and care.
Kaci Bemowski - Clinical Director, PT, DPT
Kaci earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina after completing her degree in Kinesiology at UAB. She has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, treating patients of all ages—from athletes and post-op cases to older adults and those with pelvic floor dysfunctions.
After helping open a clinic in South Carolina, Kaci returned home to Alabama with her husband, Joey, to continue serving the Leeds and Moody communities. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
Courtney Thornton - Physical Therapist Assistant
Courtney is a Physical Therapist Assistant with over 13 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Certified in pelvic floor rehabilitation and skilled in Advanced Neuromuscular Reeducation (ANR), she takes a whole-body approach to help patients restore function and improve quality of life.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exploring new foods, and home decor projects—bringing her belief in balance and holistic wellness to all she does.
